I am interested in working with adults and older adults in inpatient rehab, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care facilities. I also am interested in hand therapy a speciality area in occupational therapy.

Kids First Sports Center: Outpatient Pediatrics
August 2023 - October 2023
Observed and assisted in providing services to children from 2 - 10 years of age diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, fine motor/developmental delays, and sensory processing disorder.

October 2023 - November 2023
Observed and assisted in providing care to children with fine and gross motor delays, attention difficulties, learning disabilities, and sensory processing challenges.

OrthoCincy: Hand Therapy
August 2024 - October 2024
Observed and assisted in creation of a variety of splints and interventions for clients with upper extremity injuries including fractures, nerve injuries, tendon repairs, accidents, over use injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

UC West Chester Hospital: Acute Care
October 2024 - November 2024
Observed and assisted in evaluating and treating patients with chronic illnesses, post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries, organ failure, and following strokes on a variety of floors

Nationwide Children's Hospital: Outpatient Pediatrics
January 2025 - March 2025
Evaluated and treated children, both independently and through extensive co-treating with speech therapists, with a variety of sensory, developmental, communication, and fine motor challenges. Treatment sessions focused on self-regulation, sensory integration, social participation, play, and functional tasks through close collaboration with families and caregivers. Additionally, I had the opportunity to observe in a variety of specialty clinics offered by on certain days of the week through Nationwide Children's Hospital system. I had experience administering the Peabody, BOT-3, Sensory Profile, and Sensory Processing Measure.

Mount Carmel East Hospital: Acute Care
April 2025 - June 2025
Evaluate and treated adults and older adults, independently and through co-treating with physical therapist, primarily on the trauma/trauma ICU, neuro/neuro ICU, and emergency department floors. Many patients were recovering from strokes, brain bleeds, motor vehicle accidents, cancer, falls, and a variety of other medical conditions, illnesses, and traumatic events. Treatment sessions focused on early mobility and ADL completion to improve participation and strength and regain independence. I had experience administering the MoCA, Berg Balance Scale, and grip strength through dynamometer.
Work Experience
Youth Running Coach - Columbus Running Company
Designed and led training sessions for children between 2nd and 5th grade. Sessions focused on education regarding safety, proper body mechanics, race strategy, and team work to ultimately help young athletes achieve their goals through hard work.

This experience gave me valuable communication and leadership skills needed to engage patients, build rapport, and design engaging activities to promote growth.
Certified Exercise Coach - The Exercise Coach
Provided personalized fitness coaching, in both an individual and group settings, for adolescents, adults and older adults by designing and implementing personalized programs to meet client's goals and health considerations. Educated clients on proper body mechanics, anatomy, proper machine use, and healthy lifestyle choices to promote longevity and build strength. In addition to coaching, I was required to promote and sell membership packages.

This role strengthened my knowledge on anatomy and physiology, creating client-centered goals and sessions, communication and leadership skills, and coaching techniques to keep clients motivated, injury free, and reaching their goals.
